After the opening address by the Managing Director, Dr. Anthony Oteng-Gyasi, there was a review of Sales Performance for the previous year, 2014. This Sales Performance Appraisal was done by the Finance Manager, Mr. Wisdom Ahorney.
This year’s ceremony was under the theme: “Promoting good corporate governance and innovative entrepreneurship”. Held at the plush Banquet Hall, State House in Accra, the event was well attended by corporate Ghana, dignitaries and officialdom.
Dr. Tony Oteng-Gyasi, a Lawyer, Economist and an Industrialist, led the AGI as President from 2005 to 2009 during which period, his technical expertise and managerial initiatives helped in positioning AGI as a strong brand within the industrial landscape of Ghana.
Mr Oteng-Gyasi made the call in an interview with the Daily Graphic on efforts the company put in to emerge the best manufacturing company in Electricals and Electronics sub-sector of the economy.
