Quality will always be our hallmark

Mrs Irina Odame, has assured customers and stakeholders of the company that it will continue to prioritise quality and standards in its operations.

She gave the assurance after the Ghana National Electro-technical Committee (GNEC) and the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) commended her for her strong commitment to standards in the industry over the years.

A citation presented to her by the two institutions said as Vice President of the GNEC between 2011 and 2017, Mrs Odame facilitated the adoption of over 400 International Electro-technical Committee (IEC) standards for the country.

The citation was presented to her at a handover ceremony organised on 13/04/2018.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic after receiving the citation, she said the gesture was a source of inspiration and recognition of her continuous strive for excellence. “It has given me more confidence to push for more excellence,” she added.

As Quality Manager at Tropical Cable and Conductor (TCCL), an indigenous giant, Mrs Odame said the recognition reaffirmed the company’s commitment to local and international standards.She stated that it showed that the company was adhering to standards set out by the Ghana Standards Authority to help give customers value for money.

She expressed the hope that the recognition would spur her on to help realise TCCL’s vision of becoming an African industrial giant.

Going forward, she mentioned that TCCL would continue to deliver quality, safe and valuable products to customers.
