Bare Overhead Conductor

All Aluminium Conductors- AAC
AAC is largely installed in urban areas where a short span length of a few meters is required. They are very useful in coastal regions due to the conductor material’s ability to resist corrosion. These are stranded concentric conductors having single or multiple layers based on specification. The conductor material is made of EC grade aluminium. We manufacture these conductors following BS 215-1, IEC 61089, ASTM B standards, and other customer specifications (SANS, DIN, NFC).

Bare Overhead Conductor

All Aluminium Alloy Conductors- AAAC

All Aluminium Alloy Conductors are applicable in circuits where mechanical resistance is considered above conductivity. They have a better strength-to-weight ratio and ground clearance compared to AAC. We supply AAAC conductors under IEC 61089 and NFC 34-125 standards.

Bare Overhead Conductor

Aluminium Conductor Steel-Reinforced- ACSR

It is a concentric-lay-stranded conductor with single or multilayers having galvanized steel at its core as a strength member for power transmission and distribution, and external layers are made of aluminium. This design is suitable for aerial circuits that require both high tensile strength and conductivity. Aluminium Conductor Steel-Reinforced is extensively used in medium to high voltage systems with long span lengths such as installation across rivers or forests. We offer products in accordance with BS 215-2, ASTM B, IEC 61089, NFC 34-120 and other customer specifications.

Bare Overhead Conductor

Copper Annealed Conductor – CAC

Unlike hard drawn copper conductors, annealed conductors are more ductile, and can be used for earthing. The wires are conditioned during the drawing process to give them a soft and ductile feature known as annealed. Copper Annealed Conductors are also concentric-lay-stranded conductors available in various sizes according to its application or purpose.
